ABOUT MELIGONI HONEY

Thanasis and Sofia have been producing Certified Organic Honey since 2010 and were one of the first Beekeepers to be Certified Organic in Corfu island. 

This small family-run organic honey farm business decided in 2021 to create a showroom for offering free honey tasting sessions and a small shop, open to honey lovers, foodies, and travelers from all over the world.
At Meligoni certified organic honey showroom and shop, you will find 9 different varieties of certified organic honey and some other beekeeping products such as pollen, propolis, and royal jelly.

Below will follow a short narration of our "honey" story so that you get to know us a little better!

I really liked honey and at the beginning of our relationship with Thanasis, I was looking to find the honey we remembered from our childhood, but we could not find it. So we decided and finally, we managed to get our first hive.

When we started and saw the life, the course, the development of the bee while reading and informing it was a miracle that grew in our hands.

So in the first year, we made our first honey, our first variety of 4 seasons.

So, slowly growing the apiary, we discovered other varieties in other areas of Corfu and of course Epirus. In addition to our apiary, our family also grew!
We feel so lucky that we were allowed to raise our children in nature, close to bees.

We will be very happy to share the honey produced by our bees with you!

the store is open from Monday to Saturday. Closed on Sundays. opening hours are 9.00 to 14.00 in the morning and 17.00 to 21.00 in the afternoon.
